liada was born at 27 weeks on November 24th at 1:29 am and weighed in at 2 pounds 2 ounces. She came out came out crying which is one of the best sounds I've ever heard. They tell us to expect that she will need to stay in the NICU until her originally scheduled appearance of February 22, 2010... of course we are hoping for it to be much sooner.
She is doing well and is having her food intake increased everyday. Her weight has fallen to 910 grams which they tell us is normal.
If things go well, we should be able to hold her for the first time late next week.
