  • It's a nice and peaceful day here at home without the kids running around here
  • Get on either Tinder or Facebook Dating, as my standards slowly get lower until I finally get tired of this mess
  • Laundry, clean house some more, round up crap to donate and get it in boxes in the trunk of he car so the kids can't get it and bring stuff back in
  • Watch some more Gemstones and maybe read Strangers in Paradise book 4
  • Pilates twice today?

  • So excited for a day off one job.
  • Woke up at 6AM, but shockingly feel back asleep.
  • Showered, diet coke in hand, ready to start travel work.
  • May go shopping in the Woodlands later today. Was hoping to take the kiddo homecoming dress shopping but she may wear one from a friend. I really need some new clothes & shoes.
  • Looking forward to the lower temps today.

Haven't done these in a while.

2.5 mile walk.
Chores - mostly yard and pool clean-up from last night's monsoon.
Burger and beer lunch.
Get new plants for backyard and get em in the ground.
Bar league fantasy football draft.

Yep. "I'm divorced" became "separated a couple of months* (the state makes you wait a year to file). The whole situation is a mess.

Dimassi's opened in College Station? I used to go to the one in the Rice Village all the time. That one closed about 20 years ago, and then I started going to one on Richmond. I love Dimassi's!!

If your machine runs Windows 10, it can run Windows 11. There is free software called Rufus that will modify the Windows installer so that it doesn't check for hardware requirements on installation. The machine I'm using to compose this post isn't Windows 11 compatible, but that's what it's running. You can also disable the need for a microsoft.com account in order to perform the installation.

I have windows 11 on a newer last option and had to do all kinds of stuff to make it not suck. The desktop is staying on 10.

I have nothing nice to say about Windows 11, but Windows 10 will be unsupported after 10/14. I wouldn't run Windows without updates; at least not with networking.

My day has been great.

Currently sitting with my fave gal at Cheesecake Factory in the Woodlands. Apparently every other high school girl decided to also come dress shopping at the mall. But alas, we found the perfect dress and she is all smiles.

Not looking forward to the drive home but that's part of it.
