Half day / working from home anyway today
G/f gets here in 4 hours hence the half day of work bit, but I'm also bouncing off my PTO hours limit anyway
Lots of cleaning to do before she gets here (thanks, kids!)
Mom flies in tomorrow afternoon, I leave for St Louis on Sunday, busy weekend all around!

- Waiting on the second roofing company for a bid
- Got my first dog walking inquiry yesterday! It's way across town and they want me to walk their intact Aussie puppy (8 months) for an hour twice a week so he gets his energy out. Yikes. TBD if it materializes since my schedule is not always consistent.

Haha that's the same way I do it to, and the kids get called over to have a look at the critter that we're about to relocate to the wild. It's kind of a no-kill policy over here unless it's a mosquito or fly.

Supposed to be 95F today and 97F tomorrow. Mizzou moved their kickoff up to noon tomorrow to try to beat the heat. After dark would have been a better choice I think. We've had three rotten fall foliage seasons in a row, and a hot/dry September isn't going to be helpful.

On-call for work today and don't want to do anything on a Friday. Fingers crossed I have a peaceful day.

I'm going off of the info you posted for years about yourself and your kids and ex-wife that formed an image in my mind about an identity associated with your username. That's what pops into my head when I see your username on screen.

There was no offense intended. It's a reflex for me to associate "he" with your name based on things you have posted further in the past.

I would imagine there are a lot of people who have some kind of mental image associated with some usernames based on what they saw that person post about themselves early on.

Seriously WTF is going on over there? It's nice and cool in Charleston. I was looking forward to even cooler weather over in St Louis next week for my work trip but when I checked it just sucks! Way nicer over here.

-Exhausted. Got home at 11:30 and could NOT sleep. 1-2 hours max and not consecutive.
-Back to work. Blech
-Currently at the flooring store picking out shower and floor tile for the bathroom reno. This is NOT my jam.
-Try to play catchup this afternoon.

Maybe somewhere with the fam for dinner since I haven't seen them this week.

fair enough, that makes sense and I get that but when it comes to any form of "identity" whether that's a username on a sort of anonymous internet form or if its what you have/want (or don't have/don't want) between your legs or on your driver's license...my philosophy is handle your own business and stay out of theirs because I definitely want people out of my business unless I tell them otherwise.
