-WHY can I not sleep. Today is going to be a struggle.
-4 softball games for my baby girl. Luckily it's here in Bryan though.
-Love watching her play so today will be great besides the no sleep.
-Probably gonna sweat some today.

45 mile group ride in 90 min. Will be fun to see how the legs feel.
Need to mow.
Need to find frames for some certificates.
Need to work on the rose bed right next to the house.

Up early to see grandson play (gulp) soccer. Wow. Why isn't flag football more popular? I'll take a good book to the game.

I have an appointment to have my eyes checked today. First time in 5.5 years. It was time.

I am 48 hours into a fast. Not hungry at all and feel good other than the weird side effect of having to frequently run to the toilet.

How many pitchers does a team like your daughter's have? Are pitchers allowed to pitch more than once in a day, and are there pitch count limits? Dependent on the rules, do different teams/clubs generally take different approaches to usage?

Sorry for the barrage of questions, but it's something I haven't thought about much or known before. I'm more familiar with softball at the college level and how pitchers are managed there, but I'm curious about the younger levels.

There is no limit to how many innings/games they can pitch. On my daughter's older, crappier team, she literally pitched like five out of six games in a day. It was awful. That was probably 3.5 years ago.

On her current team they have 5 pitchers. The last game was 3 total innings. One girl pitched two, my daughter pitched one. I would say 3 to 5 is probably the normal amount of pitchers on a 16 or 18u travel team.

My guess is out of the four games today, my daughter may pitch in another game maybe two, but probably just one. Really just depends on how quickly the games go and how the different pictures are doing. We definitely have some that are more seasoned than others.

Weird. When I fast I barely have to go at all but after I break the fast and get the digestive system back in motion, look out!

Are you drinking a bunch of juice or caffeine?

Went to bed before 10pm. My wife asked me if I was feeling poorly because I don't got to bed that early on a normal day.

Felt fine. Just tired.

Slept in the same position almost all night. Got a text from work at 5am letting us know that something that had not been working properly was now working properly. Went back to sleep right away.

A few chores this morning and then came to work. People made poor decisions this week that ended up causing me to be at work late yesterday and will probably cause Monday to be not awesome, to paraphrase Tony Stark.

Might watch the game tonight. Or not.

Mostly just water. Drink some hot tea last night. One cup was uncaffeinated, one cup was regular. I think my liver is so used to constantly having to digest complete garbage that it's just dumping bile out of habit. That's basically all that's coming out. Annoying because it's actually keeping me at home.

How long do you plan to fast?

Dog walked, picked up poster from frame shop, work out done, lunch consumed. Hair cut in a little bit - normal gal out sick, so no clue who'll be barbering for me. Order groceries for delivery tomorrow, may do some work.

Was trying to make it to 72 hours but ended up breaking it off at about 54. Trying to kick start some ketogenesis and weight loss. Need to drop about 30 lb at least.
