Had my semi-annual HVAC inspection. Dude tried to sell me on a new ~$10k system.

Had my annual electrical inspection. Dude tried to sell me on a ~$9k upgrade to my panel plus $600 worth of smoke detectors.

Have my annual pest inspection tomorrow. Wonder if the dude is going to try to sell my on a giant $10k stuffed cockroach.

Unfortunately, No. Had to go in and leave voice message, email message, tell contractors, and grab yo stuff, AND then get yo formal letter. We sleep in tomorrow.

Because one may never know of the miracles of the midnight congressional deal, BUT not this time. This time they just went to bed.

I put the ***** shaped valve caps on my nephew's car and they were a huge hit. I left them on for a day then texted him several pics of his car, each one a little more zoomed in until you could clearly see the valve caps. He laughed and said they were immediately going to be moved to all of his friends' cars.

I noticed tons of cat fur, in tufts, over by the cats' food and water dishes. Lucy is losing fur on her stomach (as in nearly all of it is gone in a large area). She already had an appointment to see her vet on 10/18. I just moved that up to 10/3 (Friday). Lucy is an incredibly loving little kitty. She's ten years old, and I want to have her many more years.

Neat city, but too cold for my S Texas blood. Im surprised at the number of homeless people.

Why the heck can they get a Costco, and Corpus with over 100,000 more people can't?

Corpus could be a great city but they just can't get out of their own way. Costco probably wanted to come and city council voted against it or something.
