Takes my local Taco Bell 30 or 35 minutes to make my order after I place it online. This has happened several times, and I've stopped going. A shame, as it's the cheapest fast food that there is.
I'd literally be better off ordering at the Taco Bell by the MU campus and passing by my local Taco Bell on the drive each way. Would still be faster than ordering at the close by one.
I found the Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos inedible. It's just salt on salt on salt. I tried the Cool Ranch one a couple weeks back and thought it was better, but still...just fine.
I'm good not ordering either as the food at Taco Bell is already sodium bombs.
We eat Taco Bell very rarely, but my go to is the cheesy bean and rice burrito. It's $1.39, filling, and has no meat, so there is a reduced chance for food poisoning.
I can remember in high school (late 80s), there were constant ads on Houston radio for the Taco Bell 59 cent value menu. I thought they were chumps. In Beaumont, it was the 49 cent value menu. Could get three bean burritos (no onions) for $1.47 plus tax.
