• Didn't sleep great. I had an alarm set for 6AM to get up and start working since I didn't get much done yesterday, but I turned that off during the night.

• Kiddo dr appt little later this AM.
• Meetings this afternoon
• Cooking steak this evening. AND I cooked yesterday. Go me.

• Punta Cana is sticky this morning, even for a Corpus guy
• Food at this resort is just good, nothing outstanding
• The Wife had 4 mimosas to start the day, I see a few screwdrivers in my future this morning

Up late this morning (8:30) on what will be a beautiful autumn day (78 degrees) in west Georgia, east Alabama.
Speaking of which, we are heading over to a pumpkin patch hereabouts.

A good day starts with good coffee.

I have never once called Columbia Public Schools during their business hours and reached a person. The receptionist answers, directs you to the person you need to speak with, and then it rings and rings until you get voice mail. Hopefully, unlike last summer, they call me back.

EDIT - Trying to pay for Benny to take an AP exam next spring and he isn't found in the list of students. I called schoolpay.com, and they told me that the district has him attending Hickman High School in "the system" and that they need to update their system. Benny goes to Rock Bridge HS.

Went out on a lunch date yesterday that turned into a 12 hour thing. Got home at about 2:30 AM.

Made some pizza dough this morning so I have options for lunch. Probably going to make salsiccia e peperoni (sausage and peppers) for lunch/dinner.

Need to get some work done.

I got back to Iowa on Saturday and I had been inside for less than 30 seconds and I went to go water my mums outside and saw my sweet little catman was already on the porch waiting for me. What a darling welcome home.
