Woke up at 3:30 a.m.

Tried to go back to sleep, So i got up at 4:00 a.m.

Left the house at 5 a.m.

Stopped at Casey's to fill up the truck and then drove to work.

Peddle something today.

Ready for 5 p.m.

No big plans for the weekend.

• Travel work tonight most likely even though I don't prefer to work Friday nights. Got too much and will be driving several hours tomorrow.

Slept hard after working a 12 yesterday to knock something off my plate.

Lots of KISS and Ace Frehley on the various radio stations this morning. Currently hearing KC Wheeler spin New York Groove at the request of a discerning listener.

Busy weekend ahead. Hazardous Household Waste collection tomorrow.

Went to heat lunch just now, and Benny ate my last two Hot Pockets. If he wants to eat Hot Pockets, then he should get them at the store on Sundays. It's like whatever he selects is his, and whatever I select is ours. I obviously pay for all of it, but if he wants what I pick, I wish he'd tell me, and I'd buy more of it.

Eating burritos instead, and we're out of food until we go shopping on Sunday (tomorrow is Dominos pizza day). Will have to buy fast food tonight.

Time for him to get a part time job.

Benny wants a part-time job. I can't afford to put a teenage male on my car insurance, so he still doesn't have a driver's license (he's 17). He wants to pay the added cost himself, but he's struggled badly in school the last two years, and I won't let him work.

He tests off of the charts, and it's maddening. I suspect Tanya's health problems have had a lot to do with it, and I'm hoping this is the year things turn around for him. If he can carry all A's and B's, I'll let him get a job.

Is there anywhere close enough to where you live that he could ride a bike to work? Although I agree with you that he needs to get his grades under control before adding an extra burden.

I just sent my email to our district registrar, each member of the school board, and the principals and assistant principals of Rock Bridge and Hickman high schools. I don't want it searchable in google, but this is an image of what I sent. I'm hoping a board member (or two) comment over the weekend.

Friends from back home say the water has been pretty clear lately on the coast so hope that makes for good fishing tomorrow.

Benny is going to a Renaissance Fair with his friends after the ACT exam tomorrow. He got "that gene" from Tanya. Tanya and a friend of hers took three month old Benny to visit some freak Santa at the one in Plantersville back in the day.
