Om the way to work stopped by the local donut shop and bought donuts for employees.

Peddle hula hoops.

Today is my leave early day.

High school football game tonight.

Work on race car tomorrow.

-Still in bed though, don't want to wake the hubs
-Drive down to Galveston today to board the MSC Seascape for - night
-That's my day lol. Will explore and try lots of different dining options. Haven't decided if gonna do water slides.

  • Transferring to another org next week and the year-end review cycle is going on right now so of course everyone is trying to throw everyone under the bus
  • Memorial service for a work friend who lost her battle with cancer is on my transfer date so I'm not sure if I'll get to attend that or not
  • Everything's kind of a huge mess right now but luckily it's Friday so there's a couple of days before I have to jump back into it
  • Weekend plans: sleep

Benny has *zero* interest in sports. They bore the hell out of him. Sometimes I don't know how he's my kid.

I want to go watch his high school football team play, but he's not interested.

EDIT - Not going to catch a Rock Bridge game this season. Played their last game on Halloween. Finished 5-5. They're usually better than that.

He played t-ball for one year and soccer for about five. He's not particularly well coordinated. He got that from his mother.

Yall, this is three people I've known who have killed themselves in the last month. I didn't know them all that well but I know that all of them came across as very happy, gregarious, funny people who seemed to be living happy lives. You never know what's going on in anyone's head but I'm just completely baffled and very sad.

I wish they knew how so many they knew would have bent over backwards to help them through whatever issues they were going through.
