• Minitab might work again this morning? Idk, this has been a problem because of goofy licensing stuff that I don't exactly understand
• It did this thing where you could open it and everything was normal for around 2 minutes and it would close down, but at least do it politely and let you save your work first
• Middle finger is still swollen up from bruising the bone between my hand and 1st knuckle.
• Nevermind, Minitab just did it again so it's very much still messed up
• After work probably just preparations for the trip, getting Christmas stuff for the kids, and chilling out at home since I'm taking tomorrow off

At what temperature do I force Benny to wear a coat to school? We've been in the upper teens a few times, and I didn't do it. We're at 12F this morning, and I'm debating. Supposed to top out at 24F today with a NE wind off of serious snowpack in NE Missouri and Western Illinois.

December is the slow month in my job. It's ironic because it's the month that our servers process the most consumer transactions. We don't mess with them while they're busiest.

Took advantage of the time to apply for a job at U of Missouri that I might actually enjoy. It's a Linux Systems Administrator position. I've met some dishonest people in my dealings with the school, but this job is too good of a match to my skill set to not apply for. Linux is a passion of mine.

Nothing on my afternoon calendar today. I'd go sit on my balcony, but it's only warmed up to 15F so far.

My LL Bean flannel-lined hoodie just arrived. Two observations:

1. It's comfortable
2. I guess I'm in my LL Bean stage of life.

I love LL Bean. Tanya and I visited the store in Maine back in 2003. I'm still buying from them 22 years later. Wearing a belt right now from them that I've owned about five weeks.

Slept like a dead person. Never moved once. Woke up way early. Went to work way early.

Busy morning but productive.

A couple of people are dragging their feet on some stuff.

Tried dinner at a local "tavern" last night. Had heard good things. The burger and tots were decidedly "meh". Service and environment was good.

Heard my first ever Deftones song on the way back from Fuego. This will both disappoint and encourage jetch.

Bonus points if you can identify the building in the background.

• Slept decent
• WFH day today. Still in my pj's.
• HEB cookies and a diet coke for BF.
• Waffles with peanut butter for lunch.
• Soaking lima beans for dinner. Haven't made them in probably 5-7 years.
• Hubs comes home this afternoon!
• Travel work this evening. In 3 days I've already booked 2/3 of what I did the entire month last year. Crazy.
