Foggy morning in west Georgia/east Alabama. So coffee first so that I am less susceptible to falling for April Fool's Day pranks.
A good April Fool's Day starts with coffee.

Why does Sam's Club want you to move your items from one cart to another when checking out? Loss prevention I assume. I just scan whats in my cart and head out.

• Awake again at 5AM exactly. WHY.
• FREE DUNKIN COFFEE. Large iced coffee with oatmilk, brown sugar syrup and banana cold foam.
• Few meetings today but should be able to knock out some project stuff.
• Consol stomped Rudder last night. My kiddo pitched 2 of the 3 innings, total of 29 pitches, 19 strikes. It was 18-0 going into the 3rd inning.
• Game tonight against Lake Creek. Sadly I am sure we will not win.

I use it most of the time but I haven't figured out how to use Sam's cash on it.

51F with heavy rain when I bought my coffee this morning. Finished it an hour ago and might buy more. It is dark today.

Paid my taxes yesterday. I still can't figure out how I owed money, but I got enough back from Missouri to pay Uncle Sam. The real winner here is Turbo Tax. Gets more expensive every year.

Was on a daily call just now where we were discussing how busy the call will be tomorrow because it's cancelled on Friday. My colleagues in Brazil, India, UK, Canada, and who knows where else, all have a holiday on Friday. The US doesn't. EVERYONE gets more holidays than we do.

• I guess I forgot to take any real vacation last year so I have 15 days to use before June 1st

I am so very sorry to hear this.

- Just sat down to try a new barbecue place. Not many options for barbecue in this town so crossing my fingers. It's in a shady dive bar and I'm the only woman in the whole building - very weird.
- My triglycerides are 4x what's normal. I stopped taking fish oil a couple of months ago and my doctor said that medical textbooks say there can be a triglyceride rebound from discontinuing fish oil but she's never actually seen it before. So retesting and then re-starting fish oil and testing again. Ugh. It's 6 huge pills every day.

Busy day at work today.
Raining here and desperately needed.
I hope it rains all night.
