May you all have a Good Friday in remembrance of our Lord's sacrifice for all mankind, indeed all creation to be freed from the bondage of sin and corruption:
Romans 8: 20-21- " 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of [a]corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God."
Revelation 21:5- " Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said [a]to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful."
Isaiah 11:6-9- 6 "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb,
The leopard shall lie down with the young goat,
The calf and the young lion and the fatling together;
And a little child shall lead them.
7 The cow and the bear shall graze;
Their young ones shall lie down together;
And the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 The nursing child shall play by the cobra's hole,
And the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper's den.
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain,
For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord

- My Easter isn't until next week so I'll just get all the Easter chocolate half off before giving it away to the kids at church.
- I attend the church that my great-grandfather founded when he moved his family here from Bakalaka Land.
- Currently attending Uncle Mark's church: Sam's Club.
- The dude loading his car in front of me has 3 cases of Dude Wipes. He better not flush those!

Morning meetings have been remarkably useless. My Indian and Brazilian colleagues are off, and about half of the teams have been unrepresented in all of them. Mercifully, my afternoon calendar is clear.
With rain forecast tomorrow, there are two Aggie baseball games today: one at 2 PM and one at 6 PM. This is a frustrating team to watch. How far can an otherwise great team get with no pitching? I suspect not out of regionals, and I'll need to find a side team.
My family have had 188 acres for sale in Hardin County for about ten years now. Got a text last night from my sister that we have an interested buyer. This would be massively helpful for me. It would mean I can take Benny on a vacation this summer (and would put a significant dent in paying for college for him). I have my fingers crossed.

- Super sore after I got a massage yesterday (which is a good thing)
- 1/2 day today. 3 meetings down.
- Travel work this afternoon.
- Need to go to Houston to possibly get kiddo a car - not sure if we will go today. Tomorrow's weather doesn't look stellar.
- Double header for A&M Softball on the tube.

Low sodium V8 has grown on me. Been drinking two 12oz cans a day for the past few weeks. I feel like it's given me more energy. Wasn't really enjoying it the first week, but I've gotten used to the "low sodium" part of the taste.

Yep! My family is from Syria but where they lived is now Lebanon and the family moved to Beirut.

How cow I've never had that! Maybe I'll go to the Greek services for the food - there's a Greek church down the street that my other great grandfather helped establish. I claim the Greek side less frequently

My little 3A Catholic high school had three teachers from Lebanon. My computer science teacher was really, really cool. He taught me how to say 'f*** you' in Arabic. That was 1989, and I still remember it. I liked him so much we had him over for BBQ one Sunday once the school year was over. I'm connected with him on LinkedIn.
My physics teacher, on the other hand, was a complete ass. I had serious issues with him, so my mother and I met with him. Mom backed me on a couple of things. He put his hand up to her and walked out without saying anything. He apparently didn't think much of women. Mom met with my principal (also a woman) the very next day. Physics teacher did not return the next year.
The third Lebanese teacher I never had, but he was also supposed to be cool.

I interviewed someone today who made me feel very dumb. It was for a editor position and I had asked about her background. She proceeded to tell me that she went to college for a degree in Aerospace Engineering but halfway through got bored with it so she switched to Astrophysics for fun.
