• Slept decent. Woke up early but did doze back off til 7.
• Up and working at 7:30AM. Currently on hold with Norwegian trying to get my clients an upgrade to a suite.
• Lots of travel work today
• Rent a carpet cleaner today or tomorrow for our house and new rent house.
• Will enjoy listening to the rain this afternoon.
• More travel work.

Slept in until 6:30. Dog walked, breakfast consumed, groceries ordered. Work out. Something.

Went to bed late

Woke up at 6:30am from a dream that my alarm was going off. Reached to turn it off and realized hey, I didn't set an alarm last night because today is Saturday and I didn't have anywhere I had to be early. My brain was pulling a late April Fool's joke on me

Costco fuel station run for some gas

Picked up tacos for me and a Blue Baker everything bagel sammich for my wife. They have chocolate croissants today with strawberries on top and some kind of strawberry filling. It wasn't in the plans today, but I brought some home anyway

Chores. Lots of chores

Need to knock down the back acre but the forecast says not today

Vinegar, baking soda and dawn dish soap made into a paste worked. I still have more to do, but I made a paste, slathered it on there and let it sit for awhile. Then scrubbed it off. I haven't been back since last weekend to see if the smell was any better. But I still have more to do and still work on the microwave as well.

I hope it rains a turd floater. We need it badly.

Although, the NWS has pulled the rainfall chances and predicted totals down overnight. . This may end up a nothing-burger for us.

We have a 100% chance. That may mean it rains 0.10" though. We got 2.5" earlier this week so I'll be glad for whatever we get today.

Warm day with cool breezes in west Georgia/east Alabama. Tomorrow is rain. Getting ready for our Mazatlan trip next week. We visited there back in 2020 on a cruise before the Pandemic Panic and liked it.

• AirBnB guests asked for early check-in, showed up an hour before their early check-in time, and wondered why their door code didn't work
• Parlor Panther #2 has learned he can get a running start to jump into a cardboard box and it will slide across the floor

Topo Chico has paused production to make upgrades to the sourcing facility. That means we are entering into a shortage that could last all summer. It's a good thing I bought 15 cases a month ago because prices are already way up. This was at my local carniceria today.

HEB's 1877 mineral water is a pretty decent substitute.

Well, I found a lot more of the "smell" in the new rent house today.

Gonna take me a while to figure out how best to clean it up, but I'll start tomorrow. This is the top of the cabinets.

The lightbulbs were on top so you can see where I removed them, then obviously all the nasty crap all over the lightbulbs.

The very top of the cabinets that surround the exhaust system, that was super super dirty as well. So now I just have to clean these flat services, which is gonna be harder because it's like a porous wood and not smooth like the front of cabinets.
