How long do you want to ignore this user?
I have never been to a cut- What should I expect? I have already read the what to bring list. I dont need to hear that again?

How long is it?
What's the atmosphere like?
Does it matter that I have never swung an axe?

Also, along with the how long is it.... My parents are coming into town for the game and want to go a later lunch... Will they get pissed if I need to leave early?

Thanks

Its a come and go as you please type thing... as long as you can make it out there thats cool, no one's gonna hold your hand... we're all grown ups.

Hell take your parents with you...

Cut goes all day but people leave early.

As for the atmosphere.. it depends on how it is outside.. there is grass and trees and sky and birds and lizards and bugs and bees and probbably some dead things too.

If it rains, it will be muddy.. if not, it will be hot.

We expect the first weekend to be used for teaching people to swing an axe and be safe.

we know that people have other obligations (GAME, PARENTS, etc.) so it is ok to leave early.. just dont make a habit of it.

The main thing, show up and do it for yourself (give it more than a half day) and then decide if you like it (You WILL like it), I dont know many(if any) people that didnt enjoy it.

Well instructed all... Everything sounds in order. As an old Ag, I'm proud of every damn one of yall. huhwhat... I know you already know this, as well as all of yall... Most importantly, bring your Ag Spirit. That's the single most important thing. You'll keep your Bonfire cut memories forever. BTHOFTAB!

huhwhat - as far as atmosphere, it is laid back... I'd say.

It is buildin the hell outta bonfire and killin the hell outta trees... which is unique for building camraderie and Aggie Spirit.

Be positive and have fun. Aside from the work aspect, it is kinda just hangin out with some fellow ags and shootin the sheit. You'll like it. I don't know a soul that hasn't or hasn't said that it has impacted their experience as an Aggie.
