Have everything but B/CS residency.

All the more reason for me to pursue employment in Aggieland. i'd love to be the Hollywood Pot for SBA.

Every time I read Texags and come across some of you snivelling, tradition hating ladies, I lose a little more hope for A&M. Some of you candy-asses clearly got lost on the way to Austin, Lubbock or Waco. Please buy a map and leave. - Buck Turgidson

Also if you yourself cannot help but are in the industry and know of people who may be able to help themselves please alert them to our needs.

Jayci.. This was a board decision beacuse we felt that the student leadership was too busy to understand the intricate nature of PR... case every year we seem to have some fiasco that should have been handled by a PR advisor... in 2003, we had a PR guy... but he lives in Dallas and we (the board) would prefer someone closer.

Anyways... the reds were sent a notice of the board's intent before it was posted.

No PR experience and not in BCS year round. Probably more than a few people would say I don't belong no where near PR. But I'm always out to help bonfire, here if ya'll need anything.

May I suggest that if you can get the right person, this member should have board of directors rank. You need not just a publicist, but also someone who will have high level input as to how Student Bonfire's decisions will affect the public image of the organization.

While I don't have a ton of PR experience, I have most of the other items listed... but I live in Montgomery, not BCS.

Thanks DA, those types of issues are being discussed internally and will be worked out.

On a related note, but not directed at anyone in particular, the issues that come out on TexAgs are quite often being discussed or somehow addressed by the Board and/or current leadership with the goal of finding the most appropriate solution for the situation. However, everyone must understand that TexAgs is not the official message board of SB nor is it associated in any way. It's a public forum read by many more people than just the ones that post here.

Further, there may be times when the two are in disagreement or not on the same page for some reason. To that end, discussing the internal debates, discussions, decision making, etc is, again, not appropriate here. The Board and the Leadership are not black boxes as mentioned in another thread; just not willing to air their laundry in public.

Having said all of that, TexAgs is a great resource for getting info out, coordinating efforts, gathering opinions, or just keeping everyone in touch. The admins here are owed some thanks for allowing this to remain such a resource.
