Please bear with my ignorance. My wife and I (class of 73)are thinking of attending the bonfire this year. I have not really kept up with the SB so I am pretty ignorant. Are members of the Corps allowed to participate at all? The Band?

Bonfire has had a fairly good number of participants who happen to be in the Corps and the Band.

The nerd is right, but if you mean does the band come and play, then the answer is no. One member was trying to get some old BQs to organize and play, but I think that fell through.

I did get permission to at least make a start at it, but have had next to zero feedback from the contacts ive made. Want to help

The major problem is not finding willing BQ's but acquiring instruments. So if anybody happens to own an instrument store or is really good friends with a high school band director. Hollar this way.
