Forgive my ignorance, but I need to contact one of the Student Bonfire leaders. I am the president of the Comal County A&M Club in New Braunfels and a couple of our representatives gave a talk to our club back in July. Unfortunately, I have misplaced all contact information for the two young men who spoke to us. They left a section of the '05 center pole with us and we intend to auction it off on your behalf this Monday night at our own Bonfire.

I need to know a few things:

1. If the buyer wants to write a check, who should it be made out to?

2. Where should we send the check once it is sold?

3. Is there any other information you would like passed on to our club?

We had a tremendous response to your speech this summer. I know many of our attendees were very impressed with the presentation and all of the work you are doing. Keep up the good work and hopefully the New Braunfels Aggies can provide a little more financial support to your cause.

I will do that soon. Bryan (sp.?) Lane was one of the speakers that visited us this summer. He represented your organization quite well and we were quite impressed. Hopefully we can stir up a little more money for your group on Monday night.

FYI -

We had our Bonfire last night and we auctioned off the section of center pole for you. It sold for $300. That is not a typo. Sometime in the next few weeks you will be receiving a check from the Comal County A&M Club in the amount of $300.

Good luck tonight and I'll work to get in touch with you after Thanksgiving.

Glad to do it. Once everyone gets back from the holidays I'll get with our treasurer. The man who bought the section gave me cash, so we will deposit it into our account and then write a check to you. I'd rather not send three $100 bills in the mail. I'll also include the buyer's contact information so that you can send a letter, thank you note or whatever.

Keep up the good work!
