At the time, there were a lot of people who were unhappy with Bowen's decision. Some of these people formed a group called Unity Project. Now, every year, there's an off-campus Bonfire. With Cut. Without a $2.5 M price tag. Imho, an improvement over what Bowen was proposing. So should we (gasp) be thanking him for not having the university re-sponsor Bonfire?
