I haven't kept up with the litigation in a couple of years. Does anyone know if there is anything pending after the 5th Cir. held for the University? If not I guess the discussion begins again in earnest. It was always put off until the end of litigation, now, 8 years later, it may be over. What are y'all's thoughts? I really don't think this one is going to go any higher, but I could be wrong, I suppose they could wait until all appeals have been extinguished.

(Sorry for the ramble, I have 4 finals in 2 days next week and I just started making outlines.)

It would seem to me that the plaintiffs will appeal this ruling as well. The issue of a "state-created danger" is an issue that I believe the US Supreme Court would be tempted to address.

(I am in the same boat you are with finals. Though here at UT our finals don't begin until May 4th. I've totally given up outlining for my class where we have a 24 hour final, those are the worst IMO. I would much rather have an 8 hour final! [/end of rant by this stressed out law student])

i hope bonfire comes back within the next couple of years in some form or fashion. would do wonders for the aggie spirit! if it does come back, i'll be sure to fly in to experience it.
