How long do you want to ignore this user?
Without getting into too much family history, my dad lived in Dunn c/o '79 and was President as a senior. I know he worked on Bonfire and loved every bit of it. However, two years ago he died following complications in surgery. I've wondered ever since I got involved in SB if he ever held a leadership position for Bonfire (i.e. maybe a crew chief or Yellow). Without him to ask in person, I've been trying to find someone who might know anything about Dunn from those days. I can't believe it took me this long to think of asking TexAgs. So, here it is. If anyone knows anything about Dunn Bonfire leadership or Jim Cooper '79, I would be enormously appreciative.

Yeah, I went over there last semester, but for as much stuff as they have over there, they don't keep records of Bonfire pot lines or the like.

agcoop,
I know a few of the Dunn deads from 1999. I will try and find their numbers and see what I can find out for you.

I don't think yellows or crew chiefs existed back then. From what I gathered, Bonfire leadership at that point was not as regimented.
