Please help circulate the following to friends/acquaintances and hopefully make it possible to arrange Senior Care for a loving wife and confidant of 57+ years, mother of two, sister, aunt, grandmother and expanding great grandmother...yes, a grand ole Dame.
High costs Tier 5 specialty meds (for which there are no generics), routine infusions and MRI's necessary during her 52+ year debilitating struggle with Multiple Sclerosis (1973 onset) and the associated care and on-going treatment have made it necessary to seek financial assistance from others. The Pharmaceutical giants and medical industry are apparently the only winners in her battle, as she is now a full time paraplegic/wheelchair occupant. Unfortunately, she and other MS related victims can likely attest to a similar, medical industry assessment.
We're not asking for large donations, but more reasonable requests like $25/$50 or whatever one can reasonably manage. All amounts collected will be used to cover necessary expenses and hopefully contribute to her "long-term" care by qualified providers. Without your help, her future care has become uncertain.
Not knowing the future costs, our goal is elusive but we hope is reasonable. We can only imagine that we achieve five figures...$20,000. Thanks to ALL who respond and our prayers for you and yours.
