I am curious if Novels are part of collegiate life?
Would students read a novel based on campus living assuming it was well written, interesting, suspenseful and meaningful?

College kids are like everyone else. Some read, some don't. I know when I was in college, I had zero interest in a novel set in college.

Some do, some don't. I knew some who seemed to always have their nose in a book and others who didn't read anything at all. I wish I read more in college. I probably read 8 novels in college, maybe less, and a handful of non-fiction books (mostly spiritual; Lamb's Supper, Imitation of Christ, etc.) which is pretty lame over the course of 4 years.
