The find is really cool, but it is frustrating when the article makes claims such as,

Actually, after taking a minute to look at the other articles I share ya'lls perspective on skepticism.

Mea culpae. I honestly didn't expect it to be controversial. I kind of stumbled across it, saw it was recent, and that it would be interesting to others.

Yeah and you were right to point out that lack of actual sources or even mentioning any of the "archeologists" by name.

Authentic finds almost always mention who did it.

No offense to you intended. Maybe I'm just old but I find myself being frequently angry about how many articles out there are just AI written slop with no actual thought or reason put into them.

Besides, finding a 5,000 year old manuscript is exciting enough on its own merits. No need to hype it up as something "terrifying" or imagining links to something else that aren't warranted.
