There are media edge lord narcissists on the political extremes that are always seeking and fighting for small but dedicated loyal audiences of people who consider themselves "the most" of any politic or movement and the fight and maneuver viciously to dominate their target radical audiences. If you've ever thought of yourself as "the most" or "the true" the. You might be in one of these audiences and not realize it.

More of a grift than big politics? Keep in mind for most of history, they have been effectively the same thing most of the time, and remain so.

If you were in the politics sphere of YouTube or Twitter over 5 years ago you know who Elijah Schaffer is. He was relatively popular at the time and was a frequent guest on YouTube shows like Tim Pool. And still is occasionally.

He got blacklisted/shutout by a lot of commentators and banned off several platforms because he's a raging racist and antisemite. He's Richard Spencer 2.0 and tries to disguise it as Christian nationalism.
