Looks like Tom Steyer might not make run off even though he was expected by most to be the Dem nominee.
Good riddance to Porter.

Former Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra advanced to the general election for California governor in November, according to the Associated Press. His position makes him the favorite to replace Gov. Gavin Newsom in the deep-blue state if he faces off against a Republican.
With an estimated 67% of the vote counted, Becerra led the field with 26.7% Friday, AP said. Republican Steve Hilton, a former Fox News host and adviser to former British Prime Minister David Cameron, was the other leading candidate, with 26.3% of the vote.
However, AP hasn't called the race for Hilton. Billionaire activist Tom Steyer, another Democrat, was in third place with 21%.
Good riddance to Porter.

Former Rep. Katie Porter, once considered another Democratic rising star, is on track to finish in the single digits. Porter had led the pack in some polls last year, but a leaked video of her yelling at a staffer "get out of my f shot" during a video recording was difficult to recover from.
