Would like him too, but given that tceh is a state school and this would cause financial and reputational harm, he's likely obligated to step in.

When you're 5 months out from an election and can weigh in on the obvious wrong side of an issue that will piss of 90% of the people with an opinion on it, you gotta do it, that's just good politics.

He has another state school and two more private schools in Texas that would be on the other side of that litigation though.

The Big XII is on the other side of the litigation. Not the other schools independently.

It doesn't matter and he will still win by double digits come November. It's only the pathetic libs that are praying this somehow tilts the race to the freak who has no shot.

I wonder if some Tek big money donors pressured him into acting, who knows. Otherwise, he should have stayed on the sidelines. It's a lose/lose proposition.

You don't have to wonder. Cody Campbell is Techs billionaire booster and he bought off both Cruz and Paxton to push tech cover.

I say let Sorsby play. If he truly is that good, prove it. Play your schedule, get into the playoffs and prove you are the number 1 QB.

Sorsby better have swivel on his head. I can see a team like BYU, Arizona St, Baylor, and UofH sending a head hunter out there just to get a cheap shot and put the hurt on Sorsby.
