Howdy All! I may be on the job market just as soon as my family is moving to the Austin area from South TX. I am currently a Public Sector management consultant who has worked for 3 years at a major firm. I served 5 years as an Air Defense Artillery Officer worked on multiple political campaigns (democratic campaigns) and worked a brief stint in Congress. I have an Exec Masters in Public Administration and a BA in Political Science.

1) Management Consultant
2) Business Analyst
3) Project Manager (no i dont have a PMP) but being an HHB XO as well as a Batalion Unit Movement Officer who managed deployments for the entire brigade)

Im happy to send an email to anyone with any sort of leads but my wife just resigned from her job with the idea that I was secure in my employment since we were going to be moving and she has some leads on jobs in Austin for herself but no firm offers yet. Add on that we have a 4 month old daughter. So needless to say my blood pressure medication is only so useful. Hope someone out there is willing to help a fellow Aggie

I noticed TPWD has some openings in their contracting and procurement group and I believe they have some preferential hiring initiatives for prior military. Their career board is pretty easy to find from their website home page.
