Anyone have any recs or seen any good deals? Our house is just over 3k sqft and my son's PS5 connection upstairs isn't great.

Do you have the ability to hardware the backhaul on your mesh access points?

No, just the main hub. The other two will be wireless.

In that case you may want a tri-band WiFi 6 or Quad-band WiFi 7 mesh network (dedicated backhaul radio/antenna).

Netgear Orbi 770 (WiFi 7, 3-Pack) $580, list $900.

On the more budget friendly end, without the dedicated backhaul:

Amazon eero 6+ (WiFi 6, 3-Pack) $195, list $300.

ETA: There are some ok deals on TP-Link Deco units but they're Chinese designed and made and while quality hardware, are always under threat of being banned and losing firmware updates.

TP-Link Deco BE25 (WiFi 7, 3-Pack) no dedicated backhaul radio ~$198

I have an eero network and it works great. A lot of people don't like that it requires an Amazon account, but I've given up on caring about stuff like that and basically sold my soul to Amazon and Google. As far as the tech goes, the eero works great.
