Muzzy mx-3...100 grain. They are simple design, easy to sharpen...not too expensive. I just like the simplicity. Killed a ton of stuff with them...white-tail, axis, fallow, sitka, turkey, squirrel....
Ive just never had an issue with them, so there is not really a reason to for me to change. Agree 100% though with the above poster, its all about shot placement.
I did shoot some old, old, old school Savora broadheads that my dad had in an old hunting box. They still needed to be assembled, the aluminum point with the 4 blades and the lock ring. The blades were still in the wax paper with oil on them. They went right on through the deer.....even though it was a terrible shot on my part, but I got completely lucky and found it about 40 yards away.
So sometimes, the sun even shines on a dogs rear some days.........but ill stick with the muzzy if im going to use anything newer than 1980's......
