My son and I are heading down to matagorda next weekend. We are taking a guide out on Sunday, but want to fish from land around matagorda. Anyone on here got any spots or advice they'd like share it's greatly appreciated.

Surf fish the beach.

3 Mile Cut access from beach. 4wd would be a plus...

There is a little pier at the rv park that goes into the river. Not sure how hard they check if you are staying at the park or not.
