What's the value with these?

Probably like 20-25 cars. I think the last one is a '68-70 challenger or charger. I know that one is worth a lot.

(Some may have been taken twice - there were a lot of cars).

I know a lot about a little, and a little about a lot.

At a full custom restoration cost of about $120,000 each that's worth approximately negative $2.4 million dollars.

I'm sure there's some part out value that would come with labor and costs of its own but I'd guess the quick value of those is whatever the scrapyard will give you.

A least that first truck has no dents. Some rust though!

That bottom one is a 1968 Plymouth Satellite. The 1968 Satellite, GTX, and Roadrunner were all based off the Belvedere shell. They were all Plymouth B-bodies.
Some of the body pieces off of it will fit a 1968 Roadrunner, Belvedere and GTX. Does it have the engine and drivetrain?

Satellites and Sport Satellites came with 318,s, 361's, 383's and 426 Hemis.
I got ate up one night thinking my 1967 GTO could whip a guy who had a Satellite…..it was badged as a 383 but he had a Hemi in it. I should have done more recon…..

Scrap value. The only value would be you had something someone just had to have but in almost all cases there are better restoration projects. You might could sell to someone wanting yard art. For instance, someone might like to use it as a rustic business sign. Slap some paint on it, install a company logo, drag it out in front of a business…that kind of thing.

Rust and body work is very very very expensive in terms of overall costs of restoration.

Scrap.

There is a beautiful early 50's Studebaker sitting under an oak tree on our place that I've been wanting to restore since high school. The bullet nose still shines like new. Everything underneath is completely rusted away. I started looking into it and figured out that I could basically buy a new corvette for less than what it would take to rebuild that one.

We had about 30 others on the place that my Dad sold for scrap when he retired. But he saved the studebaker in case I ever wanted to try it.

My dad's uncle was a mechanic, and whenever he had one that was too broke to fix but good enough to keep for parts, he would park it on the family place... all the way back to the 30's.

Man I wish he would have had a barn with a concrete floor...

Man, that sort of sucks to see all those like that. My grandma's place had an old car on it that looked like one of those. I asked one time why it was parked there and I think someone said it had gotten a rod knock.

Even as a kid, I never understood why you would just park it like that. I would have either sold it for what I could have gotten for it to someone who could have fixed it, or fixed it myself. I guess not all people think like that.

I agree with scrap value. Very few cars are worth more after renovation costs. Think 57 Chevy convertible or various 60's muscle cars.

My dad owned Antique Automobile resale yard in Houston on the 70's. After one renovation on an old Rolls Royce he never did a ground up again. He would buy shade tree mechanics renos after they good tired of spending endless money or ran out of cash and finish them.

Every one under estimates the costs and usually do what they can with their expertise and talent but do not want to pay retail for the rest of the car.

This is hilarious. My uncle in Kingsbury had two rows of studebakers in the pasture. I think they only recently went to scrap over the last decade. They were there forever as I recall from being there as a kid.

Any value would probably be in parts. Head lights, tail lights, door handles, emblems, etc. that are in good condition. Not sure if it would be worth the time and effort though. You have to find the person(or they have to find you) looking for that specific part.

Derek Bieri could have any of those cars running in hours and drive them 700 miles to his shop!

My opinion is they're scrap. You may be able to find a Facebook group or forum where folks might could use certain parts but that's a lot of leg work for likely similar return.

Might be. But the hood trim is from a standard Satellite. Looks like there could be badging on the door but cant make it out. Lots of folks would take a Satellite in those days and put Roadrunner badging on them to look the part.
The Satellites were to the Plymouth B-Bodies like the Le Mans was to the GTO Pontiac body

Lawn decorations, I've seen many people use old bodies to decorate their entrance to their ranch. Tailgate could be repurposed into a bench, hubcaps, chrome bumpers, old license plates used to decorate outdoor area/furniture.

I see many a country junk yards going down some country dirt roads. Hopefully, someone will appreciate what you have?
