Easy way to redo the inside of a gun safe locally?

I had mold in a brand new house recently. Remediation was done, and a lot of stuff was thrown away. I am also being treated for mold toxicity, and I am having to wear a respirator to clean stuff thatw as in that house (currently, I am living in an apartment). I am still going through things in my garage, and deciding what to keep and what to toss.

Anyway, I have a somewhat inexpensive gun safe that I bought at Lowes several years ago. It has that "carpet/felt" type texture inside. It's been vacuumed, but I don't think that is good enough.

I would hate to throw the safe away - I am sure there is a way to strip out the felt/carpet inside, and reglue everything back in.

However, I have back issues, and there is no way I could personally do so.

Is there anyone locally that can do that for me? Keeping in mind, I am trying to keep the cost at less than what a new safe would cost to buy (the thing that kills you on the new gun safe is the delivery)

I am in the B/CS area.

I had a similar situation and simply replace all the plywood decking with new and glued/tacked new carpeting on it. If you not wanting to DIY, it's simple enough that a handyman can do it.

Drywall instead of ply if fire protection is a concern
