Hello. Had a friend who had a run in with this car in a hit n run. Can someone help locate their information? They refused to share with them.

I would start by locating happy hour establishments near where the incident occurred.
Were they drunk?
Find happy human resource professionals
Just give the plate to the insurance adjuster and/or the police.
The adjuster can not only identify them, they can locate their insurance policy to subrogate against

I'll do that. I just know in the past, another friend of mine had a similar issue and they were able to provide me with the individuals contact information through their vehicle registration.

I lost the driver head to my driver on hole number 5 at the local golf course. Made for a great poking stick.

No problem. It's not a big deal, and I will happily let the person know about the help shared here. However, as I said before, I've done something similar on here before (maybe the tone of the board has changed from several years ago), and several people were happy to help.

I don't think the tone has changed. I just wanted to reiterate. I was in an incident a few years ago that could have been really bad for everyone, especially those who weren't involved. If I had had their personal information, it would have probably been worse. I hate injustice and I hate even worse knowing people don't do their jobs and it results in a short tempered rage that means bad decisions. I just don't want to see someone else do something the shouldn't.

what do you mean "they refused to share"....??? Did they hit your friend and after stopping and getting out, just drive away?

Wow good catch. So if it's not a Tx plate and he's a sovereign citizen, I guess Texas laws don't apply to him.

It's definitely a Texas plate. I ran it. It's current to the Bronco in the photo.

The incident occurred in Austin when my friend was at a work function. I don't have many details other than he came up behind her and hit her car. There was no damage to his so he refused to share his information. I'll see if I can get more from her.
