What are your thoughts on a 1991 Case IH 5120 with 3844 hours on it. Found one for sale through a friend and I need to replace an old tractor. Cab... AC and Heat. 90hp. 2 Wheel drive. She wants as close to $25K as possible. Online, I see value a little lower than that? It has been barn kept. Comes with bucket, bale Speer, and JD 6' brush hog.

Seems fair to me.

That's a little high for a 35 year old 2WD. . The implements are not worth a whole lot so they are kinda gimmes. Hours are a plus. Has it been sitting a while?

Price would be about right if it were MFWD and in decent shape. Seems a tad high for 2-wheel drive. However, those 90s CaseIH tractors pre-DEF hold a lot of value. The 71xx MFWD ones will bring over 100k in decent shape.

Tractorhouse .com has some listed for sale to look at comps. With the front end loader that sounds like the going price. That's not a bad hour number but it has been worked regularly at some point so maybe they have some records of repairs done. I'd get it checked out good before buying a 35 year old tractor.
