A friend of mine, Chase Mcphaul, was killed in a traffic accident on his way taking his son to the San Antonio sheep and goat auction a few weeks ago. He was the extension agent in Reagan county. They are having a benefit online auction for his family.
I made time from the stockshow dad duties to get a couple knives made for his families benefit.
I made an Aggie and tech knife (he was a red raider) for the auction. I know a few have ask for some knives and I just have not been able to make time due to the kids stock show habits.
Thought yall would like to get an opportunity to grab a knife and help a great family.

These knives are hand-forged from 89CrV2 steel, known for its durability and excellent edge retention. Each handle is crafted from stabilized spalted maple, offering both strength and a one-of-a-kind natural pattern.
The blade features a hand-hammered texture, adding character and a distinctive, rustic finish that sets each piece apart.
Disclaimer: These knives are not stainless steel and require proper care. After use, clean and dry the blade thoroughly, then condition it with a beeswax and oil solution to help prevent rust. Over time, a natural patina will develop, enhancing both corrosion resistance and the unique character of the blade.
