Really proud of my son. His goat "Pat McAfee" came up short against some super goats. But I have always said it's the things he is learning along this path that that pay off in the long run! My heart is full, and I am so so proud of where FFA has taken his heart! Jake is headed to Fort Benning for Army training in July and I know I will not recognize him when we see him. Thank you to everyone who has bought tickets and helped Jake through the last 4 years, I sure do appreciate everyone helping kids they may never meet. Today is the day! 2026 Brazos County Youth Livestock Show Premium Auction and Freezer Sale. Jake has been raising his goat project, Pat McAfee, since July 2025, and showed him at the BCYLS Goat Show on Tuesday. As a senior, this is Jake's last show and we are all so proud of how hard he has worked these last two years on his projects. Who knew a kid from the suburb would have the opportunity to raise, show and sell animals projects! He has had so many opportunities the last four years provided by CSISD and CSHS through the College Station FFA chapter.
