I'm sure this has been addressed on here before, but I need some new work boots. I work in construction and wear them daily. Steel toe not necessary, pull on preferred, and I have a narrow foot. American made is important, but not a deal breaker.

Good luck finding a narrow. I know from experience, VERY hard to find. I wear Rod Patrick. Expensive, but they have 14 1/2 AAA!! They are "cowboy" boots. But I can wear all day , every day ranching

Redwing low heel Pecos are comfortable and durable (although I don't do construction work). I think they're now 1138 on the Redwing site. Made in the USA.

Redwing are my favorite, they measure your foot based upon your stride and other process and allow you to keep the info even if you purchase elsewhere

I agree with the red wings.
Here's what I've been buying for decades.

Danner work boots are the most comfortable out of the box.

Redwing. Keep them oiled and you'll get at least several resoles out of them before needing to replace them.

When I was on my tools, I had to wear a lace up due to my narrow feet. I could never find a pull on that my feet were not just wallowing around in them. I could at least cinch down the lace ups to my ankle and keep them from moving too much. Always had good luck with the Red Wing lace ups, I have a pair I bought 10 years ago for the rare times I go back in the field.

The absolute best non-steel toe that I had/have are a pair of Doc Martin lace ups. They are over 25 years old, and I still wear them hunting.

Good luck having long narrow feet with high arches sucks.
Today, unfortunately, many Americans have good reason to fear that they will be victimized if they are unable to protect themselves. And today, no less than in 1791, the Second Amendment guarantees their right to do so. - Justice Samuel Alito 2022

Lots of good suggestions but you really need to put some on your feet and see for yourself. "Good" boots suck balls if they don't fit your foot shape. I'm hell bent on American made boots and have 20 year old Redwing Lace ups and 8 year old Double H. For cutting cattle I like my Ariat boots that are now over 20 years old and has several resoles. Though I Iike USA made boots, my Ariats have performed every bit as good or better than my redwings. YMMV.

Every boot fits people different. Thorogood is another brand to check out if you are fortunate enough to have a foot shape that works in the boot you want from them.

Danner or Thorogood. Both are high quality. I prefer Danner, but I don't think they're American made. I'm pretty sure Thorogood are made in the USA though.

I wear Danner 6" Bull Run Chelsea boots daily. Not sure on the fit for narrow feet though. They do have several lace up options, which may help with narrow feet.

I have worn redwings for almost 30 years. The last two pair have been the redwing iron rangers and I love them and they look great also. I typically can get almost 4 years of daily wear out of them. I have not resoled them because I typically have snagged the leather on some rebar or something where the leather doesn't look great anymore.

I have been tempted to try white's as I have heard good things but they are not cheap, even more expensive than the iron rangers.

Soft-toe Thorogood pull on wedge soles should work fairly well for you if they're good with your foot shape. Wolverine makes a knock-off that I've found acceptable (albeit made overseas). The Wolverine runs narrow, which might be a plus for you.

I've worn these exclusively for work since 2013. I also have narrow feet and always wore a B width, but they unfortunately quit making them during covid. I'm wearing a D now, and just lace them up a little tighter.

Go try some on. Cavenders and several other large retailers carry them now.

I got these Ariat soft toe work boots. They were super comfortable for all-day working out at the property, but they didn't last much more than one year before the soles started coming off

Don't know where you're located, but if you're close to or passing through Childress, they have a Justin factory discount place there, buy 1 pair, get 2 . They have Justin, Chippewa, and several others. It's try on yourself, so you can find what you like. I always got on well with the Justin lace up ropers for work boot, and believe me, I'm hard on boots.

Irish Setter Ashby 9" Pull On. I am very hard on mine and after almost 3 years they are still holding up extremely well. Just replaced the insoles and they probably have another 3 years in them, maybe more.

ETA: And they are so comfortable I wear them even when I don't need steel toes.
