Not OB related, but yall know things.....Is there an app or something where you can send mass text messages that doesn't require the people to sign up for it? I've got about 200 people where I need to send them messages through text, but I know most wont download an app or register for it if it was group me or something similar.

We started using txt180 for our text messaging service to be able to message our entire parish KC group bc we couldn't get the knights to download signal/telegram/whatsapp. It is a paid service that you get a set amount of credits per month and then anything over that is charged extra to your account. If you're just sending out a few messages a month it is a great way to message a whole organization information. It isn't really designed to message back and forth, just to get a mass text out to a group of people without them having to download an app.

We use GroupMe for our swim team, we have over 200 swimmers and it works well. Every message that we send out is also emailed to all registrants.

I'm not aware of a way to mass text, but the politicians do it because I get annoying political ads via text on a daily basis.

I use Sender for email blasts. They have text messaging also.

good info. This is more along the lines of what I am looking for. Only need to send a handful of messages a month.
