I feel like I ask this pretty much every other year, but a good tamale hookup sometimes moves on. Any suggestions for a local tamale source? Got some last year, but they were just kind of ok. TIA

I see those for sale at La Familia ….. how are they? We're BIG fans of their breakfast tacos…. We tried lunch there earlier this week and it was meh.

Hear me out....and I'm from deep south Texas....Costco's tamales are actually pretty damn good
Call me crazy, but we kinda like Pepe's tamales with Pepe's chili on them.
I picked up 2 dozen from Jesse's earlier.
Bought some yesterday from La Familia and my wife loved them. I haven't had any yet she was happy.
HEB.
