My wife and I have identified 30 acres of land south of Hearne. We are looking to keep 5-10 acres for ourselves while subdividing the rest out and selling the lots.

Does anyone have a contact for a surveyor or engineering firm we could work with? Additionally, does anyone have a local real estate agent who could help us with land comps in the area?

McClure & Browne can do the necessary civil engineering y and survey work.

Quiddity Engineering does both surveying and engineering.

Randy Hughes in Cameron has done work for me in that area. Cunningham Real Estate in Hearne is very familiar with the area.You're probably talking about something in Precinct Two and should talk to the County Commissioner if you are planning to subdivide just to make sure what the current rules are.

Luke Smith Surveying out of Hearne did everything we needed for our land purchase and home build in Robertson County the last two years. He was very responsive.

I've also used Kerr commercially with good results.
