Hummingbirds Spring 2026

Got the feeders up and waiting.
Searching iNaturalist for "hummingbirds" and "Texas" with the date range "2026-03-01" to "2026-03-11," yields just five observations in eastern Texas, all near Houston: one from Mission Bend and four from Friendswood.
There are quite a few observations in last few days within 150 miles. Probably a few here or here soon.

Put a feeder out yesterday and saw one within 30 minutes!
I've seen one really small lighter brown one visiting our flower berm and checking out flowers this week.
Saw 1 hummingbird here near Lyons yesterday.
