My son is walking tomorrow (5/8/2026) at 2:00 and we would greatly appreciate some helpful tips for my family from some local Ags with experience of graduation ceremonies.
The wife and I are both WT grads but I've been an Aggie fanatic since the mid-80s. Our son was indoctrinated his whole life and he made the transfer his sophomore year from WT into the ECON program at A&M.
We've been to multiple games in Aggieland and are aware of the amount of traffic, however, his grandparents have travelled from Amarillo to celebrate this accomplishment for him.
Mine and my wife's mothers have mobility issues and have handicap parking placards and I believe they are supposed to park in lot 102 near Reed.
When should we arrive to be beneficial for the grandparents? We were thinking to arrive two hours before the ceremony.Any other helpful info that will help us celebrate this monumental occasion?
