Korean: Mong Chon
Thai: Bangkok Thai Kitchen
Vietnamese: dunno. Nothing floats my boat here but Nam Cafe is kind of ok

I don't know if Azure is still open but I had great sushi there and their sake selection was huge.

If you are thinking about hibachi, took my dad to Shogun yesterday and everyone had a great time.

The Pho place by Frice is good but not really where I would take my dad.
Bangkok for Thai.

T Jin China Diner on Rock Prairie is good. I don't think they stay open as late as when you were asking though, unless you meant "late" like a later date.

  • Siam Iyara has really good Thai food
  • Aroma's momo are the best dumplings in town
  • Imperial is solid across the board. Chinese, Japanese, and sushi ... plus the owner is a super nice guy

I hope I did not offend anybody with this post. If I did, please come see me at my address in my profile so we can talk.

Oishi is my go-to now that the original Blue Fin is no more.

Nam will eventually be forgiven of their crime against me and Shiner Blonde, but given that it was only 2 weeks ago I need more time to get there. I lost five pounds in 24 hours. It was awful.

Ohana for Korean.

Siam Iyara for Thai.

After Iza Robata was shut down for the second time in less than a year due to roaches, I am heading back to Tanaka for ramen.

High end sushi - Kanji

Solid, wide sushi menu, best authentic Chinese, best sake menu - Oishi

You would have liked early Wokamole when they really did try to be Chinese-Mexican.

Oishi is our go to. Mostly because wife and son like sushi but I like Chinese and they do both well.

40 tempura. Took a work group of 12-14 people from all over the country there a few weeks ago. Some east and west coast sushi fanatics who were very skeptic of BCS sushi. Everyone was really impressed.

Their escolar nigiri is outstanding. Also flaming shrimp, spider roll, big texan, and 911 rolls.

Can the folks who like Siam Iyara for Thai tell me what you typically order?

I've been twice based on the rave Yelp reviews indicating it's the best Thai in town and both the Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mow were very bland with very little vegetables. Basically a plate of blah slippery noodles.

I order pad see ew. I do sometimes feel the portion feels small - like the plates are deceiving - big but no depth! Tell them to put extra veggies…,

Best tasting of all the Thai places here. I started eating Thai in Sydney - which is like eating Tex Mex in Texas. Coming back to the states made it hard to find something decent - same as trying to find good Tex Mex outside Tex. This one checks the box.

There's a place in Phoenix called Chino Bandito that does it really well

I always get the pad kee mao with duck. If you get it for lunch, the up-charge for duck is just a few bucks but it's a lot more for dinner.
