I have the option of keeping my Moms 2017 Ford Escape with the 2.0L Ecoboost from her estate. 43kmiles

Was going to use as a daily commuter and let the truck stay home as a weekender

But l am reading all the problems with the coolant intrusion in the cylinders and motor replacements in the 45-80k range that I am getting skeptical.

Any mechanics/owners experience with this and advice.

No idea what if any differences exist between our engines, but I'm at 100K and have had no issues in my 2.0L Ecoboost 2019 Fusion.

Keep up on the oil changes and it's a solid engine.
