My wife's suburban has a squeaky belt, and I need to take it in. I've never done anything except oil changes and tire rotations. What do I NEED to do at 60k miles if she's going to drive it another ~2 years to 100k miles before we sell and buy a new one?

Asking because I just don't trust mechanics to distinguish between what I need and what they'd like me to buy from them.

Oil change. New air filter. Maybe a new cabin filter (preemptive) . New brake pads if they're wearing. If easily accessible... a new fuel filter (preemptive). New tires?

You can follow the 60,000 mile maintenance recommendations if you're inspired. Me? Selling in two years? I'd work on just the items I listed. Further, with the exception of installing tires... you an do all of it your$elf.

I'd replace idler pulley. Probably your squeak.

I had one go out on my 2020 Silverado 6.2L. Sounded a little bit like a supercharger.
