Last year, Abdul Carter went #3 overall in the draft with 12 sacks and 23.5 TFLs (16 games played).

So far, Cashius Howell has 10 sacks and 10.5 TFLs (8 games played).

That boi may go #1 overall if he continues this year's trajectory.

Whats the stat on how many times hes been held? Held and not called? The scouts are seeing it either way. Dude is going to make generational money

Sure, a few more sacks won't hurt, but I think it will be about how he performs at the combine in order to get in that kind of pick territory.

What's crazier? Bowling Green

Elko has a serious eye for talent.

The main thing I remember about our game from Bowling Green was how good their tight end was, who is now having an impressive rookie year in the NFL.

OP isn't serious.

He didn't preface his comments with the phrase "Real Talk" prior to posting.

Therefore... not genuine.

His hip flexibility looks a lot like Micah Parsons.

Can you imagine how many more sacks ans TFLs he'd have if opposing linemen actually feared holding calls from SEC officiating?

Looking like Aaron Wallace or Marcus Buckley

Are you saying Jerry is gonna draft him just to trade him for a bag of Doritos and year membership to the Jelly of the Month Club?

Reminds me of Jimmy Johnson's eye for talent back during his time I'm Dallas. He and a couple of assistants built that team. Obviously Elko saw something in Cashius.

Howell played for A&M when Bowling Green cane here.
Elko brought him and Nic Scourton over after the 2023 season- Nic was tied for 9th in nation with 10 sacks in 2023 (Purdue) and Howell was tied for 18th with 9.5 sacks.

Bowling Green plays in the MAC- not an obscure team ir conference by any means.

Hey now…that's the gift that keeps on giving all year long.

I remember a lot of posters criticizing Elko for bringing in transfers from small programs. Specifically this one.
