Do any of these other streaming services have Multiview like YTTV does? That's their big selling point that keeps me there.

ESPN Unlimited does, but it's the games they pick for multi-view.

- I have paused my YTTV account.
- I have already had a Disney/ESPN/Hulu bundle
- Can't upgrade to add live TV because my account is "managed by a partner" (Disney) and not Hulu
- Tried to create a Hulu account but can't with the same email
- Gave up and resorted to this for the games today…https://thetvapp.to/

Why would you create obstacles for your customers to give you money?

Not defending Mouse here...
Break the charges into two categories. Content and platform
YTTV -- Customers are paying for the platform and the third party content that is passed thru.
Mouse App -- there's probably some efficiencies, but you're still paying for the platform/app and the content.

Both parts require people and hardware.

When the contract is up, YTTV can outbid ESPN for the SEC license.

What streaming services have a family plans like YTTV?

My brother, myself, and our mother all share the plan (legally) and it worked great... up until this weekend.

If its not resolved by next weekend, I'm gonna just get a day pass for SlingTV, but this dispute lingers I'll look at other options.

I wonder at what point someone, maybe Google?, files a claim of monopoly against Disney for its sports broadcast.

And…. Just like that Disney, who owns all the ESPN streaming rights, made everybody go to them because Youtube didnt want to raise their prices to be uncompetitive. In my opinion, we couldnt watch College Gameday this morning because Disney wants to be a communist… i mean a sipper… you get the point

Your only live tv streaming options that I can see are:

- YTTV
- Disney Hulu
- Disney Fubo
- DTV
- Sling
- Philo: never heard of this.

Good Point. Havent tried it yet changing services yet, but sounds communist to me. Probably have to create a new email just for junk. Like this whole situation.

Odd. I did everything you stated with no trouble. I worked with someone via chat and he made everything work.

on another note…i am not a fan of Hulu thus far. YTTV had several things with features, like multi-view, that is much better.

Hulu UI is simply inferior. I'm too far removed at this point to remember all of the UI idiocy they had. Cataloged it in a thread at one point.

I believe if you are watching on Apple TV device, you can create your own multiview with the ESPN games.

Watching UT vs boomer on a digital antenna i had forgotten I had. Picture is incredible! Honestly think it's better than YTTV.

OTA broadcast will almost always give you a better picture quality than streaming.

Sling TV day pass for 6$ saved my Saturday and can again next week for the Ags if needed. Eff ESPN.

Yep...OTA signals are not compressed so don't lose any quality during transmission. Streaming services compress the signals to save bandwidth.

You better check you get ESPN and not just ESPN+. ESPN channels aren't included with ESPN+

And my ESPN+ account requires providing your tv provider, which is….. YTTV. So you still get screwed by Disney.ESPN.

This thread is pretty amazing to learn how many people have no clue who owns what and how TV and streaming even work.

I feel better about myself this morning.

The new espn streaming app requires no tv provider and has access to every espn platform. You can double down and ad Fox Sports for $10 more if so desired.
