I do not want to be ranked #1 until the final whistle of the NC game in January.

Some of you are so blinded by your maroon colored glasses that you can't be objective. If you weren't an Aggie fan, what would you look at with this team. I would say they were lucky with how their schedule has worked out, only playing teams in the bottom half of the SEC standings to date, and did not / will not have to play Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, Tennessee or Vandy (pretty much exactly what we all said about tu last year).
Hope we make it to the SEC Championship and see how we match up against a top SEC team. I think we'll win out the regular season.

What about "top team" bama's total resume is better than ours? Losses? Common opponents?

Wrong.
Missouri lost to Alabama at Missouri 27-24 Our game was not close.
Missouri has scored, 61, 42, 52, 29, 42, 24, 23, 10 (Vandy), and 17 (Ags). Only Vandy held them to fewer points.
Ags have averaged over 40 points per game in SEC road games, and we gave up at least 3 at end of this game.
Move along.
Not against their 3rd string QB.
Plenty of things for the Ags to improve. (I think they can, this isn't a criticism. The best football is still ahead for the Ags)
it's an acknowledgement it's a weaker Missouri. Which they are.PlanetAggie said:Tex117 said:PlanetAggie said:woodyhayes said:

We were also missing key players. What's your point? Totally different game if we had Moss and Bryce. We may have scored a million.
But But But posts are exhausting.

The only team in the top half of current SEC standings that we will play is tu.

I am going to play a "what if" game here. What if we played tceh in Lubbutt with yesterday's effort and execution? Do we win? The #3 in the country would, but would the Ags have won with what you saw yesterday?

I think we all thought - at least most of the SEC pundits thought - that Auburn, LSU and Florida would have been much better. But they are not. They still have talented players, but just not good teams
I truly think we can beat anyone, but all I'm saying is we've been fortunate with the schedule and we need to take advantage of this good fortune and finally win an SEC Championship.
