Loved the Cow Hop. They also used to make a darn good chicken fried steak sandwich.

Youngbloods in Bryan had the best chicken fried steak.

I had the cheeseburgers a couple of times at the Cow Hop, but then I discovered the Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich with gravy.

Never ordered a cheeseburger there again.

Another great memory was Moses Hall Viking night at Sbisa. Just take all your food and dump it on the tray. No utensils or napkins allowed. Good times.

And yes, I did achieve the freshman 15.

My first issue of Texas football.

Why I have hated tu since 1972:

I was 10 years old in 1972 and always would wear Texas Aggie gear because my dad and grandfather were Texas Aggies. There were a couple of teasip kids in my class that said tu was better.
I bet one of them a nickel that the Aggies would beat tu. Well, the game didn't go so well, so Monday morning I put on my Texas Aggie T-shirt and went to school. I walked into the classroom and he had that smug teasip look on his face.
I put the nickel on his desk and never talk to him again. They have always been arrogant and that has always stayed with me.
73 was a tough game
74 was a disaster in the first minute.
But 75 we turned it all around
And then we blew them out in Austin in 76 and went to the Sun bowl (my first bowl game).
Big wins in 79 and 80.
Then in 1984 we started the dominance.
I feel like this team is at that point.
There's something special about this team and this season.
I've always wanted to be a fighting Texas Aggie and have never been prouder of this team and the 12th man.
They find a way to win.
Rough, tough real stuff

tu will be #40. I have hated them since 1972 (that's another story)
My last game as a player was at tu in '84.
One of my best memories was running thru the bootline after halftime
up 20-0.
We had just beat TCU the week before and had a great week of practice.
Coach Sherrill gave us itineraries with a burnt orange key on it
that said BEAT tu.
That game helped make this program great.
I have the same feeling about this game Friday night.

I was in the boot line.

Scalped tickets from tu ex and sat in their side at the 40 yard line bottom section.

Great memory.

That bootline was awesome. There were so many Aggies there.
