I didn't say I quit watching, I just don't plan my day around the games anymore. The system has been corrupted beyond repair. Ole Miss has one of their best seasons ever, and loses their head coach and part of their staff before they play the first playoff game. While no one is likely beating OSU this year, OM had just as good a shot as anyone to make it to the championship game prior to Kiffin leaving. And their former coach just bent them over.

His dog was dying of cancer and given his insane travel schedule he decided to bring the dog with him everywhere.

I've lost 2 dogs to cancer in the last 6 years. One unexpectedly when she was 11 but still acted like a puppy and the other when he was 16 but we still felt like it wasn't enough time.

I'd let 50 people punch me in the face in 50 minutes if I could have just one extra day with either of my dogs. There is a wide chasm of love between Herbstreit and Kiffin here.

So the daughter, who wanted the dog to begin with, is (or perhaps was based on recent events) a student at Ol' Miss. I wonder how she feels about Juice 1) apparently not living with her and/or 2) being left behind ? I can't imagine leaving my dog behind. This whole thing is weird.

Forgive me if I don't believe a Tweet from some random Russian person. Not that I wouldn't put such a thing past Kiffin, but I'd need more evidence first.

The article (on pg. 14) makes it sound like the kennel owner/trainer/gameday handler keeps Juice in line, and Layne lets the dog get away with more stuff at home. Sure seems like he's actually housing the dog.

If his daughter stays at Ole Miss, I wouldn't be surprised to see the dog stay with her.
